In this edition of Artist Talks, Palm NFT Studio welcomes Cory Van Lew, an NYC-based artist that paints vibrant works drawing from their experiences as a graphic designer in order to create scenes that explore society and racial identity. Since his arrival into the NFT community, Cory has taken a prominent role as one of the leading artists in the space, working with celebrities such as Mike Tyson, Jake Paul, and Teyana Taylor. Deeply impacted by the ongoing collective experience of the COVID-19 pandemic and enduring quarantines, Cory has rendered our “new normal” through a series of his signature warm pink and blue NFTs and paintings.
In alignment with our commitment to digital stewardship and recognition of blockchain technology as a growing vehicle for artists to develop and share their work, @ICAMiami is launching their new NFT platform with 4 exclusive works from Cory Van Lew’s latest collection. The NFTs include a physical painting created on-site during the ICA Miami’s 365 Gala on April 9, 2022, featuring:
- Cory Van Lew, Alpha, 2022. Acrylic on canvas, 6 x 4 ft.
- Cory Van Lew, Beta, 2022. Acrylic on canvas, 6 x 4 ft.
- Cory Van Lew, Gamma, 2022. Acrylic on canvas, 6 x 4 ft.
